If it's Always Night, Why Need Eyes?

(A brief note: I'm tired right now so if this is kind of choppy and disjointed , that's why.)

Suffering is unfortunately a part of being human. Before you go stop reading this because it sounds so obvious, please bear with me. I have had some really, really tough times in my life. Some people go through life without a lot of issues, but most people suffer a lot. Sometimes our troubles and suffering can last for a long, long time. Like for this person here.

This person can be you, me, or anyone. They are traveling through life and the sun is shining. When disaster strikes or something else happens that makes them sad, it becomes night. For whatever reason, they're sad and in pain. Storms in their heart kick up and they feel the sting of despair, and possibly depression (whether clinical or not). This someone continues to travel through his or her night. Instead of ending quickly, the night persists for what feels, to them, like an eternity. This person may start to hate happiness altogether, his or her heart becoming rocky with biterness and dissapointment. At some point, this somebody might wonder why emotions are needed at all. He or she might feel that emotions are useless, just like this person felt happiness is useless. This person says, "It has been and always will be night, so I don't need my eyes (heart, all emotions, feeling, etc) anymore." Because if one is always sad, why does one need emotion at all? Yet night does not last forever.

One day the sun will rise again. Even if it's for one fleeting moment when the Dark scatters and the sun shines in this person's life, it does happen. Joy fills them and happiness returns. Yes, most of this someone's life can be full of night and despair. It is very sad when someone's life is almost nothing but night. Yet at some times the sun does shine. We humans are made to feel emotion. This includes feeling happiness and joy. It doesn't matter if a person's heart is turned against happiness, or tries to kill his or emotions. Emotions will always been there, they cannot be gotten rid of. Depression does hurt, and despair can really wear away at a person. Happiness and joy can lift you up out of despair, so you shouldn't hate it and think it's dumb or silly. If we don't have happiness to counteract the despair (the night), we are even more miserable with nothing to relieve it. When it comes to all emotions, the sun will rise again.

So if you get rid of you eyes, metaphorically speaking, how can you ever see the dawn?

What is this Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a real thing. It has real documented effects on the brain. These effects come with certain feelings, such as a floating sensation or feeling like you're out of your body. It is distinct. You will definitely know it. Hypnosis is used by professionals to help people with addiction. USUALLY, a trained, licensed psychologist is doing the hypnosis. Ideally, it should only be used in a clinical setting by a real, PhD doctor, to help people. Hypnosis deals with suggestions. So when people are in a hypnotic trance, they are more open to suggestions. What is a suggestion?

Suggestion has a broad definition. It is simply a recommendation of how one should think, and/or what one should think, and/or how one should act. In fact, everything that anyone asks of you or tells you to do is a suggestion. If someone tells you to do something, they are actually suggesting. Even if you are ordered you to do something, it is up to you to do it or not. In some cases you really ought to follow it. Like people in the military who are given orders. The soldier must follow it, but their mind is still their own. No one can actually control you or make you do anything. Suggestions can always be ignored. It is up to you, and you alone, to follow what the person is saying. Just like all other suggestions, the ones a hypnotist gives you can be ignored. No matter how vivid it feels, you are not being controlled by the hypnotist. Be it on a stage, in a licensed doctor's office, or elsewhere.

The effects of being under hypnosis are not limited to those physical sensations. It also depends on what's suggested. The effects can include believing what you are being told is real. What you are being suggested something is feels real. But always remember that hypnosis can't make something true. No matter how vivid it feels to you. No matter how thoroughly belivable it feels in your mind, it is not. If you wish, just ask any ethical, licensed, and registered psychologist if you don't believe me. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You don't have to listen if you don't want to. You can always choose to ignore what you are being told to do/think/feel. It might take a force of will. It might take many, many forces of will, but it can be done.

Back to Plan B!

I'm gonna do it. I have re-declared a virtual, legal*, war of the words on the Asmodeuses of YouTube. Some of the crap (Tier 2 and 3) videos that they have made/posted are too strong. They're also far too pervasive in the sense that too many people have viewed them. I believe that they need to be exposed. This means that I will attempt de-mystify how their videos work; by talking about how they work and what they're really doing.

I will still not be using usernames and video titles in this post or the other post. Some of the Tier 2s and all of the Tier 3s are too dangerous, I believe, to just be tossing their names around. So I won't be reffering to specific videos and people by name. Think of the Tier 3s as toxic waste; the less you're exposed to them the better it is for your well being. And in some cases (if not all) for any relationship you're in. Despite what some of the videos authors'/posters' would have you believe! GRRRR!!! Just like real toxic waste, it's best not to be exposed to them at all. And unlike real toxic waste, different people are affected differently by these videos.

* I'll not resort to under-handed, illegal tactics such as hacking and cracking, or any other illegal activities to fight this "war". Words can be powerful enough and I do not need to resort to illegal activity. Even if victory relied on it, I would not. Laws are important for a civilized society. They are also a moral code. For all these reasons I declare to you know that I will NOT use any illegal means to stand up to the Asmodeuses of YouTube.

"Lanterns: A Comparison" Plus Short Explanation

Here is something that I posted on Facebook a little while ago. I am using symbolism and metaphors/similies here. I will explain what I mean briefly. Why is a person's personality more important than there looks? Looks fade with time. What a person is like on the inside can endure. Who a person is like is mostly on the inside: their thoughts, dreams, personality, etc. And now, without further ado to do, here it is:

"What is the purpose of a lantern? To be filled with light and illuminate an area. Lanterns come in different shapes and sizes. Some are unadorned while others are decorated with different designs. While a lantern may look beautiful by itself, if it doesn't have light it isn't complete. What's better, a lantern with a design that isn't lit, or an unadorned lantern that has light in it? If you had to choose, it would be better to have the unadorned lantern because it glows. The outside of the patterned lantern might be more beautiful, but it's the light in a lantern that is the most important.

And speaking of beauty, different people define beauty in different ways. To one person a certain intricate design or designs might be beautiful. To another person the same design or designs might be unattractive. Other people might eschew all designs and think simple, unadorned laterns are the most beautiful. Light adds to the apperance of a lantern. As it shines through, the outside is illuminated, showing the lantern's beauty in full.No lantern is ever useless, unless it's broken. When it's broken, the wick inside can't hold flame anymore. As long as the wick is intact, it still has the capacity to be lit and glow.

Yes, a lantern's outside apperance may be add to it, but it's what on the inside that matters first."

The First Post, Redone!

Bienvinedo! This is just the introductory post, Version 2.0 . Version 1.0 of the first post was deleted. Either that or it was put into Warehouse 13. The first actual entry will be something that I have already written. It's posted on Facebook Notes. The entry will be that plus a short explanation.

While you're waiting, here's a riddle for you. What do you get if you combine the Energizer Bunny with music? For the answer, please click the link. Since it's not a lever, you won't need a hard hat. You know, for the falling rocks. Yeah, only one or two people will get that "lever" and "rock" joke.
