What is this Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a real thing. It has real documented effects on the brain. These effects come with certain feelings, such as a floating sensation or feeling like you're out of your body. It is distinct. You will definitely know it. Hypnosis is used by professionals to help people with addiction. USUALLY, a trained, licensed psychologist is doing the hypnosis. Ideally, it should only be used in a clinical setting by a real, PhD doctor, to help people. Hypnosis deals with suggestions. So when people are in a hypnotic trance, they are more open to suggestions. What is a suggestion?

Suggestion has a broad definition. It is simply a recommendation of how one should think, and/or what one should think, and/or how one should act. In fact, everything that anyone asks of you or tells you to do is a suggestion. If someone tells you to do something, they are actually suggesting. Even if you are ordered you to do something, it is up to you to do it or not. In some cases you really ought to follow it. Like people in the military who are given orders. The soldier must follow it, but their mind is still their own. No one can actually control you or make you do anything. Suggestions can always be ignored. It is up to you, and you alone, to follow what the person is saying. Just like all other suggestions, the ones a hypnotist gives you can be ignored. No matter how vivid it feels, you are not being controlled by the hypnotist. Be it on a stage, in a licensed doctor's office, or elsewhere.

The effects of being under hypnosis are not limited to those physical sensations. It also depends on what's suggested. The effects can include believing what you are being told is real. What you are being suggested something is feels real. But always remember that hypnosis can't make something true. No matter how vivid it feels to you. No matter how thoroughly belivable it feels in your mind, it is not. If you wish, just ask any ethical, licensed, and registered psychologist if you don't believe me. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You don't have to listen if you don't want to. You can always choose to ignore what you are being told to do/think/feel. It might take a force of will. It might take many, many forces of will, but it can be done.

Back to Plan B!

I'm gonna do it. I have re-declared a virtual, legal*, war of the words on the Asmodeuses of YouTube. Some of the crap (Tier 2 and 3) videos that they have made/posted are too strong. They're also far too pervasive in the sense that too many people have viewed them. I believe that they need to be exposed. This means that I will attempt de-mystify how their videos work; by talking about how they work and what they're really doing.

I will still not be using usernames and video titles in this post or the other post. Some of the Tier 2s and all of the Tier 3s are too dangerous, I believe, to just be tossing their names around. So I won't be reffering to specific videos and people by name. Think of the Tier 3s as toxic waste; the less you're exposed to them the better it is for your well being. And in some cases (if not all) for any relationship you're in. Despite what some of the videos authors'/posters' would have you believe! GRRRR!!! Just like real toxic waste, it's best not to be exposed to them at all. And unlike real toxic waste, different people are affected differently by these videos.

* I'll not resort to under-handed, illegal tactics such as hacking and cracking, or any other illegal activities to fight this "war". Words can be powerful enough and I do not need to resort to illegal activity. Even if victory relied on it, I would not. Laws are important for a civilized society. They are also a moral code. For all these reasons I declare to you know that I will NOT use any illegal means to stand up to the Asmodeuses of YouTube.
